For those of you not on facebook...a few great pictures of reunions Jeff had with two miracle patients from his last trip...These boys look AMAZING!!

this is Mamadou...severe head injury as a result of the car accident that Modey was also in.

This is Modey, his femur fracture is healing well and he is awaiting final adjustments for his new prosthetic leg.

    1. Against all odds, the glory of God will be seen in these young men for a very long time...

  2. Thanks for the visual reminder of prayer working!
Has Conner tried playing with any of the local drummers in his spare time, really miss him playing here.
Interesting, most of the US is suffering from devastating drought and yet your part of the world has plenty of water. The heat is coming here also, triple digits tomorrow!
    The Lord Bless you.

    1. Con and Kel have enjoyed taking some bongo drum lessons and hope to bring a couple home to play at church. Might spice up the music portion a little... I see you guya are enjoying triple digit temps, while we have more rain here than they know how to utilize. High temps here only in the low eighties! Getting ready to start a new week. Thanks for your prayers.

  3. It is interesting to see you were able to get Modey almost to smile. Mamadou's serious look is more typical when they know their picture is being taken. I find it interesting to take note of their body language. They can be laughing and having a good time and then they see their picture is being taken and they look like some statues.

You might try to observe how many ways they point without using their finger. There are a number of ways to indicate something that are not used in America.

I am glad God is allowing you to see results from your previous trip. Even if you don't have the language you can still have an impact on lives by what you do and how you do it, Eternity will tell the lives that have been touched with you being God's instrument.
